Hatred and spite
are both their passion
and delight,
an Art
they have raised
to omniscience.
With every
passionate despair
and a haughty
arrogant air,
women know
how to hurt
with puissance.

Nary a one
gives voice or tongue
to the evident truth
of their lies,
that what they've done
is ostracize
the regard of men
for women.
Sadistic and cruel
and fit only as fuel
for the raging fire
of sexism,
they raise
the ire
and though nothing
will faze
them,
they're cruelty
will deepen.

So I'm sending out
the call
to my brothers
one and all
to unite
against this outrage
and to
quickly upstage
their right
to engage
in casual flirtation.
For no one can deny
women are quick
to decry
any suspicion of interest
we have in others,
if they had
their druthers
we'd all be subject
to emotional castration.

Dream, this is a sad poem, I am sorry you have been hurt, and that you are feeling this way my friend.

Quite painful my friend! Wish we could help you see things differently! Emotional castration, quite the punch of words.

At times, ladies can use their skirts like matador capes. They invite the charge and, as you rush headlong up to them they spin, twirl and are gone, leaving you in the dust, panting........and that's no bull.

Well done, Dream

This is the second poem of yours that I've read today and both are on this same topic. This one is excellent, but must I defend my sisters? No. There's always one bad apple in the bushel!

Just a bit bitter? That's putting it mildly. I'd hate to see the scar tissue around your heart.

I am ashamed of my fellow woman who inspired you to write this ... I wish I could say I had never been guilty of similar things ...

Take heart, friend. There are good women out there -- and if you can't find one of those, you have to take one of the lousy ones and show them the light ... LOL ... that's what my love did to me ... kind of like a "fixer upper"..? Sweetly bitter writing. Nicely done.

I'm sorry you've been hurt, also, Dream... Are we really all that bad?
