Don't cry for me; for I am strong,
No matter how hard you push, I still belong.

Don't cry for me; for I know it's true,
That everything I do is simply for you.

Don't cry for me; though it's in vain,
I'll continue to give my love through all the pain.

Don't cry for me; because my spirit is weak,
Its not possessions, rather companionship, that I seek.

And through all the happiness and laughter,
Through all the sorrow and the shame,
I will continue to simply be---Me,
The strong and free.....

So, don't cry for me!!!!

I am sitting here wondering why your gorgeous poem has 0 replies!
Even though you said not to cry, I still am all tearry eyed! crying is therapeutic, so it's ok
