Hello, This is basically my second try at a poem that is nothing about love. I hope you like. The image in my head with this one, is a fantasy type area, with orcs, dwarvs, and eleves. That sort of thing. Fire streaks the heavens sky, with bloodshed tears, in warriors eyes. In fields of war, they walk theirs proud, and hide their pain in the battles shroud. In the brisk of the stars illumination, they find themselves a hatreds creation. In the eyes of their enemies, they see themselves true, hatred in motion, and all things hatred can do. In night the fire comes tumbling down, beating to the drum of the warriors sound. The screams have died, the hatred fell, in the heat of battle, the warriors tell. Around the fire, they sit and hold, their sungs are song, their stories told. In dead of night, the warriors return, the battle fought, and the heavens burn. The chill wind brushes their inner skin, as they pray to thee, to forgive their sins. To home they walk in darkest night, as they try to forget the warriors sight. ------------------ Love can be searched for in Infinity, Found within Eternity,.. Lost within Seconds.. |

Anyone who's read any of my earlier works knows that I love fantasy related things, and this was exquisitely done. Lovely picture, I enjoyed it! ------------------ *Krista Knutson* I see the world through the loving eyes of my heart, and suffer the pain of unfulfilled visions. -- Daniel L. Miller |
