Who's afraid? A cold winter moon slips down. Icy crystal fingers drip. Shifting shadows stir and clown Fear on fear white fingers grip. Wide eyes looking all around, Behind the blinds small in dread. Fearful not to make a sound, Tip toes quickly to a bed. Under cover with his brother His toes are curled and tightly drawn. Covered head to toe in smother Wrapped around like a child new born. Warm and safe with his fears in fade, Peeks out and whispers, who's Afraid? |
