I came to you in lonesome's grip looking for release. You slayed that beast that held my heart and against my will I loved you. You gentled me when I rebeled with broken wings you held me. So patiently you made me see not everyone sees the ugly. Finally defenses fell and I returned your words. You released me from bonds of misery And when I held on to you.... You let me go. ------------------ "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot [This message has been edited by Saxoness (edited 10-17-1999).] [This message has been edited by Saxoness (edited 10-17-1999).] |
