T'was a fleeting second, within time's shifting sand, When first as lovers met, and touched upon your hand, You were but a fantasy, vision in my mind, When commenced my journey, not knowing what I'd find, Then I saw an angel, enraptured by her charms, I slowly rose to greet you, took you in my arms, I'd never seen such beauty, touched such loveliness, How I longed to taste your lips, feel your soft caress, I sought sensual treasures, of your goddess kiss, In light of scented candles, consumed by passion's bliss, T'was but a fleeting second, when found what Byron meant, "She walks in beauty like the night," and I was heaven sent. I was but a prisoner, begging to be free, In love's fleeting second, was freed eternally. [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 08-26-99).] |
