In the stillness of my soul
The darkness of my mind
The silence of my heart
Your love awoke me from my reverie
It struck me
Like a pebble in a pond
The ripples ever expanding
Until they settle to become
A part of the whole
Our souls intertwined
As our bodies surely will
Of like minds
Our two hearts are as one
Your voice to me is music
It sets my heart to dancing
A tune heard by us two alone
A symphony of love
That will never be finished
Dance with me Darling
To the eternal music
Of our love for one another...

(thought I'd try some free verse)

So you throw in a little remark about trying some free verse and think we'll not notice the skill and style of your writing

Nice try but I still noticed

Well if that was something different for you, I am surprised.  It was a great poem.
