In silence She screams See me, Hear me, Touch me, Know that I am here, But no one listens To the sound Of silence, Or hears Her quiet plea. No one comes To comfort her Or to ease her pain. No one speaks To relieve The deafening sound Of silence That haunts her world. She longs for Companionship, Someone to talk to, Someone to hold, Someone to love, But her fear Of speaking up And saying What is so For her Has her locked In a world Of silent despair. |

I absolutely loved this poem. It almost made me cry. It hit me right in the heart. Beautiful job! |

poet....this was remarkably well written. Its flow carries the reader down the path of words so quickly it is over before they even know it began. You do a wonderful job on this and I am anxously awaiting more from you!! ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
