The night sighs a lonely tune.
Drumming heavily as raindrops fall in gloom.
Echoing my heart's solitary beat,
Serenading with mournful bliss.
So forlorn did the dark clouds seem,
Like all my hopes, like all my dreams.
The chilly wind churned and swirled
As its icy shroud contracted around me.
This world has crumbled into an abyss,
Where sounds of happines no longer sing
Nor can ever reach.
There is only now the song of Despair crying.

Deeply sad...you did a great job on giving me the sense of great despair. Keep up the exellent work!

I found it at last, my dear. Still as lovely as when first I read it.
