I wake up alone Seeing nothing next to me. I thinks as i do every day, That my bed is too big for me alone. I miss having you next to me, To feel your body against mine. I long to feel your touch and Smell your hair. I miss the way you laugh, The smile on your face. Hardly a day goes by without Me thinking of you. Love is a bond that can never Be severed by mere mortals. Only God can undo what he makes, And he has yet to unmake my love for you. ------------------ If poetry is a reflection of what is in a person's soul, then I am afraid of what is inside of me. |

beautiful! Swan ------------------ "I can't go on like this is not a way of telling you'll be mine. Be mine. Like I was walking on your blue carpet. Or am I just being foolish? Or am I just being hopefully yours?" Stina Nordenstam |

Welcome, Loranth ... This poem is exactly what I feel for my love, every morning when I wake ... how did you manage to read my mind..? Hope you won't mind if I ask him to read it too ... ------------------ "Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, morierus" (Now as I hear this bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die.") |

A wonderful poem .. reminding me of that moment in the morning ..as the dreams fade ... and if I lay very still... I can almost feel her presence or smell her hair ... very moving ...thank you [This message has been edited by traveler (edited 08-26-99).] [This message has been edited by traveler (edited 08-26-99).] |
