An Angel’s Chance [In response to LngJhnAg’s “Angels”] A friend came to me the other day, at his words my heart broke for him. So for this man, I wrote these words for I’d like to see him try love again. To step softly around a broken heart takes some work, as 'tis an art to mend the broken, repair the wound but pray dear friend, you'll mend soon. Divorce I learned is a little death swiftly come, takes one's breath; but star-crossed lovers, different, yes for two then joined in love's caress. Since for them by ring they were not bound one gets what one gives, is what I've found; but a ring doesn't always mean forever in life, when man meets woman, becomes husband and wife. Sometimes it is in one's soul, to grow as “one” becomes the goal, and my friend, 'tis for you to again cope; that you'll learn to love again, and be a real angel's hope. 24 August, 1999 ©KRJ ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true. ~~~ KRJ Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Beautifully sweet, Sunshine. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* I see the world through the loving eyes of my heart, and suffer the pain of unfulfilled visions. -- Daniel L. Miller |
