Rejoice in this night 'tis All Hallow's Eve. The doors of Hell will be thrown open wide. For the ghosts of the dead I have come to grieve. The pleasures of life they have been denied. The doors of Hell will be thrown open wide. Every fate of the Damned mankind will rue. The pleasures of life they have been denied. All recoil from the venom they spew. Every fate of the Damned mankind will rue. This is what's bought with the wages of sin. All recoil from the venom they spew. Their spite they disgorge with a vengeful din. This is what's bought with the wages of sin. For one night they are free to work their will. Their spite they disgorge with a vengeful din. Hate and fear are what they seek to instill. For one night they are free to work their will. Suffering is all they will truly gain. Hate and fear are what they seek to instill. Morning returns them to Hell and their pain. Suffering is all they will truly gain. For the ghosts of the dead I have come to grieve. Morning returns them to Hell and their pain. Rejoice in this night 'tis All Hallow's Eve. ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

Actually this has a lot of truth in it! I think you have done a great job! "The doors of Hell will be thrown open wide," nice touch there! |

This definitely sets the mood for trick o'treating! Candy, candy, candy... hehehehehe and an eerie autumn eve.... ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." |

Not what I expected, DE. But you did a great job anyway. The doors of Hell being thrown open brought an image to my mind of the doors opening, showing a raging fire and evil spirts escaping...wow. I think some of them manage to get out at other times, also, to do their evil will. ------------------ *Elizabeth* "Dwelt a maid belov'd and cherish'd by high and low, But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..." |

You are mastering this style very quickly, friend. A fitting tribute to El Dia de los Muertos. ------------------ Well, write poetry, for God's sake, it's the only thing that matters. ---Edward Estlin Cummings |
