Right Where You Belong©1998 Genea Parker When I woke up this morning I knew something was very wrong. Things just haven’t been the same For far, far too long. Something good has been missing And I know now what it is. My life is just an empty shell Since you went back, back to him. But you’re right where you belong And right where you’re meant to be. But as long as you’re in my soul My heart can never be free. And I knew it would be the hardest Of the hardest things I’d ever do The day I had to tell my heart Your heart and mine were through. I never knew in my heart Our dreams would not be Ghosts of the past haunt me now Since I set your heart free. ------------------ Thanks for taking the time to read. Comments welcome! :-) |
