Unusual tear tearing down my cheeks giving my voice that scratchy quality as I tell you of my love, holding eachother with weak quaking arms Bodies not willing to accept their fates Separate entities from their hearts Take my heart with you when you go It needs your company to make it tick Useless without your adjoining soul Like that of a fresh corpse, still bloody As it congeals and hardens in death I'll giftwrap it in shiny paper Stamp and address it if you should forget Be sure to open it right away Let it feel you close so it may revive Better that one piece of me should survive than all of me exist to drearily My heart without you is impossible like a sky without sun or wet and no dry Like a silken pillowcase void of the pillow or a door with no handle and I locked inside with you on the outside and I'm pounding to get out and reach you ------------------ Love always and blessed be my children |

This is seriously lovely. I like the way you have created your images, particularly the pillowcase! |

My heart ached when I read this one. Well done, well done. Your imagery was great |

WOW....very nicely written. I love the imagery in this one and the last two lines...a perfect ending to a perfect piece!!! ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
