Sitting in Michael's Lap

0 posted 1999-08-17 03:10 PM

In reveries
I touch your lips
With shy
And gentle fingertips,

All trembling as
They feel your kiss.
With such
Exquisite tenderness

And love, explore
Each last detail:
The warm
Caress of your exhale,

The sensuous curve
Of blush, below
The soft
Mustache that tickles so.

So real -- these dreams
Replete with you --
I would
My lips could have them too!

This was written for a man I love very deeply ... you know who you are.

(When I hear the bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die.")

Someone once told me that the best poetry comes from the heart ... this one did ... thank you for your compliments, they are appreciated.

I agree with Nan. It's flawless. He'd better know who he is!

This then is truly a work of art, my friend.
