My father made a notebook,
He kept for us to use,
Upon the kitchen table,
To write down all our "muse"

Some he wrote, some did I,
My mom and brothers too,
Some came from things that we read,
That to us all amused.

So please don't think that anything,
I write down here is "stolen"
I write from memory and different things,
That to me were so adorin'

Before my father died,
He had the notebook printed,
We know not who wrote what,
But to me was very splendid.

I'd never want to take credit,
For what others may have done,
But some of what I post is from the book,
And merely just for fun...

Toerag: I can't imagine you taking credit for something you didn't write, but your explanation is wrapped in a lovely poem!

Your family made a terrific writing ensemble... the poems written and collected have brightened so many lives. Your book is a lovely gift that keeps them close to you... thank you very much for sharing your gifts... both the poems from the book and the poems from your pen.

A family that
Makes a journal together,
Takes a journey together...

Wasn't that how it went???
Nice one, Toerag.....

That is nice when you have something like
that in the family.
