Don't know how I could come up with the courage to post something so lame..Well, I was in a good mood today & thought I'd concoct something silly...!!! Pl comment (looks like I need the admonition to get more serious..)

My Online Friend…

I met this cool, witty guy on line
For lack of a better adjective,I call him 'divine'

No, not a saint, just a normal guy
Who, in real life, could be very shy…

Still a stranger -A friend? No, not yet
But I swear he is someone so full of zest…

We met on a board..not through some clan
But I don’t believe it was some 'master plan'

Its late, I am blue & I click on my mouse
Behold, he is there, mad at his spouse..!

We rant, we rave, take crap off our chests
When we feel better, aah, time for some rest

We chat, we yap, we laugh, we troop
We don’t say goodbyes when heads start to droop

He's classy, he's zesty, he's level-headed too
I think, from him, I could learn a thing or two..

I won't be surprised if he disappears 'morrow
And I don’t think it will fill me with sorrow

I think --I'd keep him, for good or for now;
If he's gone 'morrow-I'd smile & take a bow…!!

Lame? I don't find that so. I think it epitomizes most of the friendships we make out here in cyberspace. Free of the judgments and restraints we place on ourselves regarding physical appearances, we can let our true light shine. (This is just a long winded way of saying -- I liked it!)

Lame isn't the word I would have used, either. I liked it.

Thank you Elvira, In fact, the many light verses you have posted on Passions were an encouragement for me to write this one...
