If God reached down and took my hand, I'd try and pull him from the sky, Then walk Him through the streets of Time And ask Him to defend His lie. Perhaps He'd speak in simple words That even I could understand, And justify the fallen flower Coldly crushed by His own hand. ------------------ William Haskins AKA The Mad Monk http://www.ionstorm.com/public/haskins/inner_sanctum.htm |

Great, short expression of a confusion and fear of what many feel. (Including me!) I particularly like the last two lines: 'And justify the fallen flower Coldly crushed by His own hand' VERY powerful, very shivery. |

Great one, Haskins! The pain in this poem is so real I can feel it! |

I hear anger, not confusion. Really good one, Haskins. |

I enjoyed the poem, worth reading it too. Some questions a lot of people have in their own hearts. |
