Comforts Of My Husband

You build me a haven, safe from life's storms
You snuggle with me, keeping me warm.

When plans I've made seem to turn against me
You're always there to comfort endlessly.

When the pit of my stomach feels lonely and hollow
And I know that the rains are surely to follow,

You're there beside me, protecting me from pain
With no expectations of anything to gain.
