Where the Fireflies Never Fly

O’er here where fireflies never fly
cannot fly!
Where darkness is a price too high
for the glow, glow, glow
of the firefly burning bright
While night winds kiss the earth
with promise of firefly birth
nary one is in heaven’s sight;
not a flare, flare, flare
no fireflies are there
to dust fairy lights in the sky
from the flicker, flicker, flicker
where the fireflies never fly

I read this on the challenge forum but don't think I responded (was keeping low I think).
I really loved it though.

All I asked for was a challenge phrase..Ron challenged me with a phrase and a format! I'm glad you liked it. Thank you.

I'd be glad to give you some tips on writing from challenge phrases...it's not that hard.. get a dictionary..a thesaurus...a book of synonyms and a tall glass of water...

Anytime you need help, send me an e-mail..
