In the night I walked, on raining ground, my thoughts with God, I didn't hear its sound. Thunder crashed, as the lightning fell, tires roard to the brakes that held. Like a deer thats trapped in an unknown light, A frozen chill swept my soul that night. On the ground I lay, as I gasped for breath, I let myself go to the sweet, soft embrace of death. Please my baby, don't you cry, I've gone to heaven, I've gone to the sky. Please my baby, don't you shead a tear, in the darkness of your light, I will always be here. Smile soft my baby, smile sweet, in your night of dreams, is where we'll meet. When you lay at rest, and call my name, just close your eyes, it can be the same. Please my baby, set your heart free, just close your eyes, it's where I'll be. I love you. ------------------ Love can be searched for in Infinity, Found within Eternity,.. Lost within Seconds.. |

This is quite sad, yes. Several lines stand out as effective: "LIke a deer that's trapped in unknown light"... that really says a LOT... especially the "unknown light" part. And I like the phrase, "In the darkness of your light". |
