This is not a amusing fable, but something from your past so you’ll know why there are adventures and memories that last. Men tell stories of wars and hunts, making a voyage of each tale; women are mothers first, so they tell of love, life and travail. This goes back to forefathers long gone from history, as their legends still linger in our breath and soul. Just as women’s tales are the fabric from which life is woven, for without them, our lives would not unfold. As the bees do their dance, and each robin comes back to nest our ancestors’ stories and memories we hold stoically to our breast. For within our pattern of DNA, those bonds of ancient times peer at us through our daily life, in our loves, and in our rhymes. As the ebb and flow of the ocean’s waves, as the coming of the tide, the mysteries we seem to face, the reasons we abide are in our ancient memories, the ones we cannot lose so should you tell a story here, I shall look for your past’s clues. 12 August, 1999 ©KRJ ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true. ~~~ KRJ Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Poems like this one are why I am starting at the beginning and reading forward. The time spent tells me so much about the people who have been here before me ~ and I enjoy so much wonderful. Alison |
