This is for all the people who travelled in vain to watch the solar eclipse today.

They all went on such trips to watch the eclipse
To Germany, Cornwall, and France.
In Cornwall, they say, it was cloudy and grey;
What, watch the event? Not a chance!
They fell over themselves to empty the shelves
Of spectacles nearly opaque.
But though they all cheered when the sun disappeared
The grey of the sky did not break.

I saw it on the news and on the puter. Guess I had the best spot of all!

I saw the 95% version with a clear sky. It was fascinating.

I'm an American, but i'm living in England right now (ugh ). I got to see the eclipse at 97% on my lunch hour. It was awsome. However, I would never travel far to see it.
