Hello.. I wrote this at 3:am this morning while I couldn't sleep.

In the dead of night I lay awake, to the
whispers of the dark, and find myself
a lonly soul, in the sadness of my heart.
I feel the touch of the unborn light
and wish upon a star, to heal wounds of
a lost embrace, of a love that leaves
the scars.
In whistful thoughts I remember touch,
of your fingers on my skin, and shivers
pass throughout my soul to hold you
once again.
I fear forever what I lost was true, your
warm and sweet embrace. To no longer
hear your words of love, to never see
your face.
I bow my head and pray to God, to take
away the pain, in this dead of night I
lay awake, and cry my tears in vain.
Forever in time will show me love again
in someone new, but my fears are not to
love again, but that I will not love them
as I truely love you.

Wow, wonderful...so deeply sad..I especially liked the line "I feel the touch of the unborn light"..excellent work, Capulet.

wow, i often am awake at night thinking the same thoughts but not quite as eloquently. it was a very beautiful poem.
