wading through the dreams
that fell before my eyes.
the love that you had given
was just a big disguise
you lied when you said you'd love me
until the end of time
you were the one i dreamed of
to hold you as my wife

but you turned your back and walked away
you were laughing as you said good-bye
as you close the door on yesterday
i knew it was all a lie
the love that i had in front of me
i never knew that it wasn't right
you lied to me... in spite of it all
and left me holding on through the night

now days they pass, there's nothing here
i won't let anybody near
look what you've done
you left this shell
and gave me my life in hell....
