a lonely man stares at a compelling vision of nothingness consumed by the big empty, he retreats from awareness, alone patient no more, he waits again always awake and never here a world of his own, he would share, and yet no one else can see will he be here, forever lonely, afraid, secluded, happy, insane is it fate, or does he control his destiny, is it by whim or choice who is sane, and who is not, is it we who live in a world of pain or is it he, who lives in a world of his design, world of his desires shall he sit forever, in charge of what he sees, who he would love perhaps it is he then, who shall succeed, with the power to create he who makes his rules, and plays with only those that he chooses it is a game to him, reality meaning nothing inside his mind's eye so, he sits and he stares at a compelling vision of nothingness, alone ------------------ Where did I go wrong, I never needed this before, I need a woman, to help me feel. -Live- |

Certainly sounds like man -- are you referring to yourself in this poem? Very interesting typing presentation - bold to reinforce the mood in this.....nice. ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." A subliminal message of the leader/inventor/poet's mind. What we dream is what we make out of it. |

Thank you everbody! In a way, this is me, since I have found that I am only truly happy when I can leave this world behind, and create my own with words! ------------------ ...the things I did not know at first, I learned by doing twice. -Billy Joel |
