In what joy does he take in the streaks that stain my face? Is pleasure wrought when my heart again falls in pieces? What lesson learned in her passing? What reason could there be to rip from me beauty and replace it with bitter vengeance? None! He blamed but blameless, In deep recesses of my heart I know this true but it’s easier to find blame Than to live with questions unanswered. Deep runs my love for him, but so does my love for her. His fault that her breath no longer comes? His mistake that fate chose her? Was I no more an equal subject for fate to take? Why was my life chosen to outlast hers? No wrong made she. No lesson learned in her death. Others, who like me, follow his law, Tell me words that are not backed by thought. His plan say they, His hand say they, For the greater good say they. Blind sheep following easy answers say I. In my heart, I know if for a greater good might she still be here. For if His plan is my losing her… Then in His plan to lose I as well? ------------------ --------------------- "What dreams may come?" Well done. You capture the frustration of unanswered questions well. Yes, there is a plan....no I do not have the answers. Yes, I have thought about it a lot. I still hope to someday have my questions answered. INclan |

I feel your pain - just let it go... I know it's hard to not ask "why"... To find so many tears to cry... I feel your anger - let it go... Try to believe there is a reason A time for everything in season. ** Focus all your angry energy on her - Her beauty, her lovely ways, the things you loved most about her. And instead of battling within yourself, think instead of her beauty - her gentleness and how lucky you were to have known her. She will live on forever in your heart, so give her a warm place to live on, not a cold heart filled with anger & dispair...She is with you always, so live as the fortunate being you are to have had her in your life...some of us weren't lucky enough to even know her...Lots of love - Gennifer ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." Henrik Ibsen (1826-1906) Norwegian dramatist lyric poet |
