For Lisa, My Friend... |

It’s been just over a year now that you’ve moved far away. And I know that I will see you more, once again, some day. But Lisa, how I miss you so. I wish that you were here. I remember all the fun we shared the last time you were near. I long to see your face once more and hug you once again. I don’t think you understand that you are my ONE true friend. You’ve stayed with me through thick and thin- you've held me on thin ice. You’re kind words and reassurances are always rather nice. And being in your company is where I long to be. For years, you’ve been my friend, Lisa- the best of friends to me. We always knew the time would come that we would have to part. But distance cannot break the bond of love within my heart. The Money makes the world go ‘round and till I get some more, I’ll wait here so impatiently to knock upon your door. I wonder how you’re feeling and I hope you’re doing fine. Is there anything you’re needing? If so, I’ll give you mine. If you were needing my friendship, to Houston I would run. And if your troubles got you down, then I would give you none. Anything, all for my Lisa, is what I would give to you. If I won in the lottery, I’d give three-fourths to you. Just like the song, Lisa, listen: My moon shines down for you. I love you more than words can say and please, believe it’s true. I miss you, oh, so very much. Thank God, for our e-mail! Free services for best-est friends I pray will never fail! And now I’ll finish writing you this long and drawn-out poem. Just want you to know I miss you... Can’t wait till you come home. Signed with love and hugs galore, I write this sincerely. All that I ask for in return is that you think of me. ©1999 Erin Solari ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." This plucked at my heartstrings. I'm missing many people today, a few in particular, love. Thank you for reminding me of how much I miss you you. ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

Thank you for the poem. I think of you every day and the fun we have had over the years. Only a few friends in life stick with you through thick and thin and you have been one. I appreciate all of the memories we have made as friends and hope we can make many more. I am missing you too. Win that lottery Love always, Lisa |
