Tear in His Eye©1998 Genea Parker A daughter’s love is special Beyond words, beyond compare. She brings a smile to his soul Whenever she is near. She is the tear in his eye. The love of his life. It’s hard to give her away To be another man’s wife. God gives fathers many gifts Carried on wings from above. And the greatest of all by far, The most precious - a daughter’s love. The love of a daughter Means more than all wealth. A daughter gives no less Than all of herself. A kiss before she turns from him His pride he cannot hide.
