"The Things I Miss From You"

I miss knowing that you would be there and waiting
for me, and I always could not wait to
see you also.

I miss hearing your voice when I called you and
to think it was just a recording.

I miss the "Hello Sweetheart" that made me feel
special no matter how often I heard it.

I miss the way that you always wanted to be
with me because of all the things
that we shared.

I miss the kiss you would give me when you
said goodnight it made me want to
reach out and pull you closer.

I miss the tight hug that came with them
also, I could feel your body
pressing mine.

I miss seeing things from you when I got up,
they always put a smile on my face
just knowing that you cared for
a moment to write them.

I miss most of all is just you being in my life,
and for that moment and time it was so
very special, and always will be,
that is why I miss you so.
