Leaves are changing hue
Apples on the bough
Cobwebs hold the dew
Mist shrouds the morning now

Skies are turning grey
Nights becoming chill
Migrants fly away
Their summer song is still

Harvest is nigh done
Soon be time to plough
September has begun
Summer's ending now

Thank you, Sue. I like the Autumn as well. nicely written. It sounds like you live on a farm. If not you must be close to know the routine.

Born in a town
Brought up on the land
Not yet quite sure
Just where I stand.

Thanks, Inclan.

This is so lovely - short works sometimes doesn't it? Any more and it would be overkill - really good job.
