Might there ever come a time
when sunshine sleeps and moonlight wakes?
Could there be satisfying rhyme?
Sweet sounds that loving makes?

Might roses bloom in snowfall?
That sweet, soft scent on cool crisp air...
And love would cause the rain to fall;
leave icy kisses there.

Might I ever be with you?
Kiss your soft lips and taste your wine...
Falling deeply in love with you
and then making you mine...

And might you ever let me-
would you put trust inside my heart?
Would you close the doors behind me
and say we’ll never part?

Might true love pull the tide in?
Let the waves crash against me...
My love for you is not a sin.
It shines for all to see.

Might love make the world go ‘round?
Lace boundaries with tiny bows ...
And hatred might be deaf to sound
as only love might know...

Might I ever kiss your lips
and pass the driver at the reigns?
You’d touch my soft and satin slips...
you’d let them drop again.

Might we find each other’s arms?
Embrace for all eternity...
Might you seduce me with your charms...
Just hold on tight to me.

Incredibly beautiful, one voice. You make it sound so impossible, though. Hold on to your dreams.

This is amazingly beautiful. I can feel every word of it.

Thank you all so very much... though as much as I can dream, I do see it as impossible... but I can dream!

Dreams have a way of becoming reality, when you least expect it. Thank you for sharing this verse, my dear.
