I've fretted so over my weaknesses
I'd forgotten somehow that I'm strong.
I still feel a shock when my choices are right.
I've always assumed I'll do wrong.
I've spent such a long time in mourning,
Keeping tally of emotional cost,
Hating myself because you don't love me.
I'm coming to think it's your loss.

Very touching to read this. I realise it is an older write, but it is pertinent even in hindsight in regard to what it takes to move on and begin to see one's self as a whole person--not just a half looking for another half--and that doubles the value! We can choose to upgrade at any time!
