Is writing block a mental constipation giving gaseous grumbling alliteration No grunting, no groaning will prevail so I sit here and endure my travail. Would fibrous words of wooded glen cause these words to flow again Chemicals never were my forte so I sit here, without words to say. Twiddle my thumbs, rearrange my file (thank God I am a bibliophile!) Waiting to feel the signs of release give me words and give me peace! I spy on my shelf a dictionary of rhyme and suddenly, all is fine! Such a relief! Now I can relax, I just got a dose of mental ex-lax! Well, Poet deVine, I must say you've come up with a unique metaphor for what we call "writer's block". That one I've never heard before. |

I never take offense at anything said about my poetry...being a poet of common sense, I know some of what I write is good, some is bad...some is downright awful..some..some rare pieces actually are poetry. Thank you all...my aim in life is to bring a smile to your face, a tear to you eye, poetry to your soul.... |

hee hee.... I know the feelings you describe!! Though, I never put them into such wonderful words. I don't know how I missed this one...it's great! (Dunno, perhaps I was trapped in a dungeon 'bout that time.) :O |

WOW! I have felt that so often that as I read and read, it struck a tone recalling all the time I struggled to write a simple phrase. Wonderful job, I love your poems! Karibear ------------------ Turn your face to the sunlight and you shall not see the shadow. -- Helen Keller |

Still giggling Poet deVine...Can we get that mental ex-lax in chocolate flavored...I'm due for a fix! (My list of favorites from you grows again!) ------------------ For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting... |
