Heading down Main Street in his 55 Chevolet. Hard-top. Rolled and tucked interior and a Hurst four-on-the-floor. Saurian at the wheel ambivalent to the maelstrom that surrounded his wheels, his 55 Chevolet. Exhaust spumed as he passed Baskin-Robbins. He didn't like Baskin-Robbins. In his black and white world, caramel apple fudge delight was the wrong shade of gray. His 55 Chevolet was red and white. To his right on the sidewalk a rose tattoo on an exposed breast. A nose ring. Concupiscence? Not a three twenty-seven with a four-barrel carb. Glass vibrates as woofers woof. am doesnt need woofers. He turned the dial to WLS, then KOMA. Nothing. At the end of Main Street he turned into A&W to turn around. Heading back by Baskin-Robbins. Turning the radio dial to nothing. |

Ahhhhhh a 55 Chevy! My brother had one of those cars. It was souped up with racing cams, the Hurst shifter and more. It was painted a banana yellow. That car could almost fly. He won many races at the speedway with it. Sold it for $800 when he got married (wife couldnt drive it) and got a VW beetle. GRRRRR! Thanks for the memories! |
