I'll sing a song of sympathy for those who have loved and lost I know how it feels to give all you've got and still have to pay the cost I'll sing a song of understanding for those who can't let go I knew how it feels to find love in a knot when you thought you just tied a bow I'll sing a song of sorrow for those with broken hearts I know how it feels when love shatters and you have to pick up the parts I'll sing a song of pain for those who have to choose I know how it feels to have to decide when either way you lose I'll sing a song of shedded tears for those who all too often cry I know how it feels when it's just to much and you want to lay down and just die I'll sing a song of hope for those who are moving on I know how it feels to want to give up... but then the triumph in seeing the dawn. Emmy....this is a wonderful message and your rhyme is almost perfect....my only suggestion would be to smoothen out the flow just a bit on a few lines, very easily done. Nice work! ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
