A Special Recipe Take a lot of kindness and a twinkle from your eyes, Use plenty of give and take more of a will to try, A thimble full of humor, now and then a pinch of wit, And a complement that’s honest and never, forget it. With a pat on their shoulders, a joke or two-then laugh, Oh, don’t forget those kisses, about a million and a half. Mix them with a hug, then add more give and take. Put all these in a mixing bowl. Be sure to stir and never shake. Those little ones are so dear, be careful not to break. Perhaps a little seasoning, like smiles and salty tears, And ounce of gold and silver to care for later years. Yes, you should add some spice of life, before putting it to bake. Also a lot of patience and trust with a little more give and take. Serve it with GODS blessing that comes only from above. Don’t know what you call it, but at our house we call it “LOVE” By: Lori K. Perkins |

A good attempt to describe the indescribable! Nice job, Lori. ------------------ *Elizabeth* "Dwelt a maid belov'd and cheris'd by high and low, But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..." |
