POET A hardened heart, is so dispairing and cold, he seems so hideous from afar, but on the inside is caring and warm. So vicous and cold, so arrogant and bold, and so quiet tonight, as he sits and he writes by the rain And his heart feels nothing but pain... The worlds greatest work of art, is written by a poet with a broken heart... [This message has been edited by Vamp (edited 08-01-99).] |

The last two lines of this poem could stand solely by themself.....wonderful insight!!! ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |

Vamp, welcome and I enjoyed the poem. It is so very true. That's why poets are so unique at times. ( you may want to correct pan to pain and, possibly, you meant to say work of art) Again, welcome. |
