In you I have confided, in you I trust,
You have helped me in so many ways.
You have been there for me so I would not bust,
You are dear to me; it’s not a phase.

You were always there when I need you most
Giving me advice, I thank you dear
Gave me a shoulder to lean on, not to boast
Made me feel good, my life you did steer

You are my big brother see? And you I love
A special place you hold in my heart
And for you, Nightly I do thank God above
In spirit, I hope we never part
