Depression enveloping the mind contorting the thoughts of the little girl destroying her wrapping a black cloak around her gagging brain slowly while sitting on her bedroom floor Worried the mother incased in sorrow locked tight in a cage of despair as she watches her daughter slowly slip away into a world of disease unreachable Tribulation molds this family crushes it's foundation tears down what is left smashes the core unravels the sewn erases hope for better days forever Now crouched by her daughter in a hospital room is the desperate mother feeling stabbed mentally bleeding guilt breathing agaony becuase of her dying daughter and prays God listens to the woman's cry for help for her dying daughter of her dead husband confessing sins committed in the past and asks for forgiveness and he decides Clouds from above roll over gurgling thunder pelting rain to the city below except for one area with a break in the clouds leaks light through a hospital window Hope entwines the woman's soul as she sees a form floating quietly towards her and she begins to cry An angel walks up to her wipes away her tears and touches her shoulder she looks up slowly into the face of her husband Speechless she knows without words why he was there she nodded and wrapped herself around him against his silk robe and his vibrant warmth then she lets go Her eyes flutter open from a deep sleep and sits up to watch a bright form gold as a star leave through the window Happines takes over the woman's mind as she listens to what the doctor says of the miracle recovery of her daughter's disease and is thankful Life got better leading a Christian life knowing her husband was happy and her daughter was touched by her angel. Very good work, and I'm not one for free verse. I look forward to reading more from you. ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

Uplifting, so beautiful. I am truly impressed by your talent and the amount of feeling in your work. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* "I will sail my vessel 'till the river runs dry, like a bird upon the wind, these waters are my sky..." Garth Brooks |
