Dedicated to my 4 year old son.

I just cry when I see you walk by,
My, oh my.
Covered in dirt now, he's attracting flies,
hide my eyes.
Haven't I the right to clean you up, boy?

It's only soap and that is all.
Why do you feel the way you do?
It's only soap and that is all,
But it's so hard washing you...

Is it right that you put up a fight,
Everynight?
Just stay out of dirt and keep things bright,
Just one night.
I'll fill up the tub...with Mr. Bubble.

I want my son, not Mr. Pew.

(That's about as corney as it gets..LOL...Even a little embarrassing. Geesh, boys and dirt..what's up with that???)

Very good! I loved it! I also have a son, though he's too old to bathe; he was always dirty. Doesn't it seem little boys have more cracks and crevices to catch that dirt? Thank you for your poem! Anytime you want a challenge, let me know!

Thanks for the comments. I actually felt a little silly about this one....I'm blaming you Poet deVine, along with Big Mac for this one!!!!
