Your eyes haunt me through twilight's mist, Staring seductively into my soul. Beautiful lashes blink oh so slowly, Causing sweat to break on my forehead. My dreaming body twists and rolls, Throwing sheets and pillows to the floor, As tangible thoughts pierce into my brain. I live this dream of you in perfect reality, Knowing your touch, your kiss. My arms embrace you, longing to hold you forever, Squeezing tight the air around me. My lips seek yours, fervently racing Up your neck, and finally, Finally, I wake, Soaked in my dream's passion. ------------------ Even with a lot of imagination, does it make the story less true? |

Oh and what longing you feel when you wake up!!! Alas for all those who can only have the one they want in their dreams. Very vivid poem, well done. |
