Don't like huntin', but if I did, I'd probably miss and shoot a kid. My aim ain't good, my sights aren't sound, Hell I'm the worst shot there is around. I've shot some things-didn't like the meat, It's so damn hard to cook them skeet. Couldn't shoot them vicious little birds I love, You know, them olive branch totin dangerous doves? Now there's those brave dudes that shoot at deer, With guns so big they have no fear. They put that "monster" in their sights, Blow off their horns in dawn's daylight. There's many kinds of deer ya know, Santa's got the kind that live in snow. There's those impalas in Africa, They got moose in Canada. Here on Poetry we got one too. He's so smart he'll baffle you. He sneaks around and writes in rhyme, That "Balla-deer" ain't hard to find. So next time you're huntin' a poem to read, Hunt around here very carefully. That "Balla-deer" writin' with Rhyme in Reason, Cuz this time of year is "Balla-deer" season. |

I liked your poem but wanted to tell you that 'EVERY' time of year is Balla-deer season. The man is incredible! We should all be half as good as he! I like the down home poems you write....... |

Now if you do see a Balla-Deer, Lurking or posting poems in here, Line him up in your sights, I'm sure that you will be surprised. Because all around the 'Deer you'll find, Toerags and Belles, the rarest kinds. They'll be stampeding right through here, Led by that buck, Balladeer. |

You know, you're quite right about master poet, Balladeer. But, his work isn't the only worth hunting. You're also very talented. I haven't read one of your poems I didn't enjoy thus far. Ok..ok...I guess I should stop all that buttering up. I'll go now before I get too mushy..LOL |

I got to say, there is a reason For changin' rules this huntin' season. You've done it by the way you talk Now the stalker is being stalked. The 'deer is huntin' out Toerag Yo see how many he can bag And not a minute moves along That he don't put those LongJohns on. If you keep writin' comical I'll hang you suckers on my wall.
