Lovers Lonely Tears Slow rain falls On mourners there Upon marble stone Falls lovers tear Flowers lay On fresh opened ground Petals pink Strewn all around The cold earth Body warm once holds Lonely heart Now grief enfolds He is here And she is gone One lover left To carry on Teardrops fall Against marble stone Love of two Now one alone ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
