The evening wore on
she wore less.
I've tried, to no avail, to
look away, but you
caught me looking all the
way in.
Is the brightness of your eyes
the intensity
of the fire within or is it the
reflection
of the fire in mine?

This is very, very nice. It's quite a task sometimes to express powerful imagery within a few lines and this is great!
