A child so innocent & tender - so pure So capable of growing - so capable of life... Of laughter and smiles...of sorrow & tears... Of loving and caring and dreaming and hoping... This child's world so abruptly came to a standstill This tiny soul was not yet meant to evolve. This child I love...this child I lost.... A young man so warm and tender - yet strong So capable of reaching any star he desires... He knows of laughter & too many tears... He's learning to love & dreams everyday... Of what tomorrow may bring him - sunshine or rain Chin held high for he has evolved & grows daily. This young man I love...I will not lose twice. My greatest loss and yet my biggest gain - both came about on this 28th day of August... ***** In Memory of Laisha Denea... ......my little one. ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." This touched a core fatale A mothers love is core of our soul I had much trouble getting both my son's in to this world... my last son was a twin I lost his sister, my only daughter in my fith month Thank God he was a fighter his first three years were rough ones!! Being a parent of a child with special needs is a gift in many ways, it opens our eyes wider then ever before, and lightens are hearts in a way only thoes of us that have been touched can discribe [This message has been edited by tori (edited 07-28-99).] |

Thank you ladies for sharing your deeply sincere feelings & comments on this issue...it's certainly not the easiest to overcome when it happens...just knowing that you're not alone in a tragic loss makes it a little easier when asking "Why..." ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." My dear, i just have to comment. You really have a lovely way with words, and it's often hard to find words that truly express the depth of loss - sometimes there's simply no words! I wrote a poem about the frustration of words - it's one of 3 in what I've titled Series 1; I just don't have it with me today, but look out for it, I'll put it on soon. |

Well, sorry to disappoint(hehehe) but I'm female thru and thru and wrote Accidental Passing for a guy from my past. I'm actually in a relationship right now with the greatest guy in the world, but he doesn't write! (I can forgive that though...just!) Severn is a name of a character in the novel I'm writing - does it sound masculine? |
