How my heart break's for my friend, to see her world upside down To feel the pain seen on her face to know of what her heart does ache To know I've seen this pain before and understand so much more I've seen the signs, seen the rage. heard that lock snap on that cage To offer up some good advice, oh, better stop and think this twice, would never ever want her to do, what I have done, what I've been through Plan the work and work the plan, try to make them understand, the changes that one does go through In times of need, I'm here for you It's really not their fault that they don't understand, To walk a mile in our shoes, Balance would not be the only thing they would loose The wall that we talk to and tell our fears , sometimes falls on deaf ears So many day's and many nights we think ourselves to different plights As we rummage through what was when, what is now and back again How do we come to this we ask, is there's something wrong in our chosen path How do I fix it, how many talks can we not have, where words go out and don't come back Mid life Crises, PMS, Change of life what is best, label it as you will, Cause I cant name this that I feel? I will help you out my friend, call it growing and let it end. The thing you really need to do, is understand, They don't know what it is your going through How could they seem to understand when you don't have the upper hand How can they put the pieces back, when inside yourself is where it lacks They are the same, where change and growing on your part, is to blame I know your unhappy, I feel your pain, I've been there an back, and never quite the same But after all is said and done your happiness depends, on no one So I I'll say to you my friend, Search real hard, to make your mends, look so deep with in yourself, and put the change on no one else Its us it happens too.. and up to us to get us through We may have certain needs that our love ones over see, where growing has to be addressed with change But with in our soul is: The answer to how this will unfold I will be here for all you need, never hesitate to contact me.. In times of woe, at heart, You and I are never apart, so take this comfort here my friend, that alone is not where you've been But all alone your decisions made, to plan the work and work the plan, what ever you choose I'll understand Only wish the best for you, in all of life, what ever you choose I can not take this pain from you, its something many of us go through Why is this I do not know, just know that I have been, I can only hope my growing is close to its end But take my word, friend of mine inside your soul the answer lies You will find it if you search , you will do the things to make it work .. For you. Inside of you is where your happiness lives... Find it. And in the quest to find its true, I hope your love ones see you through But if you venture out on your own, make happiness of your new home.
