The first few bars of that melody Brought teardrops to my eyes Memories flowed from history And I stifled my unheard cries Words tender and soft to hear A song from a time now past Lyrics we shared once together To signify how we would last A chorus we once sang together A three minute song never ends For this heart still broken by a promise Of two parted to become friends I wonder does your radio play the same tune Do you become as nostalgic as I? As the song fades from the night I lower my head and cry. ------------------ For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting... |

Azzie So melancholy! I loved it. Your style and mine seem so similar. I find it very easy to pick up your meter as I read. |
