I haven't cried
I've kept my head
held up so high

I've been so strong
as days have passed
but yesterday
it was my last

today I found
a letter sent
from you to me
goodbye's intent

written and read
three months ago
I still had hope
would not let go

staring at words
now all I hear
is lies lies lies
away fades fear

replaced by pain
lies lies all lies
fire in my heart
tears in my eyes

so even I
have fine'ly cried
as truth came clear
and my hope died

close eyes, lick lips
tasting the salt
tears of knowledge
it was my fault

You are a very talented writer, and whoever you wrote this about must have been horrible to you. I love your poem and you should post more.
