Our precious baby born to us We bathed in such vivid dreams Of what our lives would be together Just you, daddy, and me. As quickly as you arrived Gone in the blink of our eyes Although it seemed us empty We truly had been blessed Leaving tiny footprints on our hearts You're unmistakably missed. Life does go on we know this true Your sister has been born You still are mourned Only more quietly now For we know you are in her. A poem I wrote to ease the pain I felt when my daughter died at birth. ~~Christi~~ [This message has been edited by Izashopper (edited 07-26-99).] |

I thank you for all the kind words...this happened 4 years ago and we now have a 3 yr old daughter that eases our pain...I will never stop hurting for the loss, but time makes the pain easier. |
